To register your interest and apply to study for a research degree at UCA please follow the link at How to Apply on our research degrees website. The university has one entry point per academic year which starts in September. Whilst we will consider applications throughout the academic year, early applications may be more likely to be successful as supervisory capacity is limited.

There are a small number of fee scholarships to offer suitably qualified applicants, for either practice-based or thesis-only research projects. Awards may be made for full or part-time study to Home or EU applicants. These are awarded after interview and on a merit basis. There is no separate process for application. You just need to tick the funding section of the research proposal form to indicate that you wish to be considered for an award. While the deadline for fee scholarships has now passed for this academic year (2020), applications to the programme are still welcome.
