Lighthouse Lantern Parade

WE’RE LOOKING OUT FOR YOU
A parade of lighthouse lanterns along Dover seafront

For their first design project of the academic year our Master of Architecture course participated in the DAD Festival 2023 You can reach the world from Dover. Collaborating with the Dover-based social enterprise Future Foundry, students together with local families designed and built portable lighthouses for the lantern parade along Dover seafront on Sunday 8 October. Here some photographs of the event which concluded the summer arts festival.

A big thank you to Lisa Oulton, Bid and Olivia at Future Foundry, to DAD director Joanna Jones and all DAD guardians for keeping us safe, to Paul Cheneour and Dave Robinson for the live music, to Roger Parish for the photography, and to all visitors from Dover and beyond who came along to the parade.
