MULTISTORY Guest Lecture
NAT CHARD
Thurs 9th Jan 6pm

We are pleased to announce a MULTISTORY guest lecture by:

Nat Chard // Experimental Architect & Designer

Thursday 9th January // Drinks 5.30pm // Lecture 6pm // Architecture Building Foyer Space // UCA Canterbury

//

Nat Chard’s research examines ways of nurturing indeterminate conditions in architecture and how such a condition might be discussed and proposed through drawing. Nat has constructed a series of drawing instruments that are produced largely through digital fabrication. These reflect an interest in the possibility to think about architecture through drawings and the agency of a medium to infect architectural thinking.

Nat’s highly respected work has been widely published and exhibited internationally. He is currently Professor of Architecture and Interior Architecture at the University of Brighton. He was previously a Professor at the University of Manitoba, Canada and the Royal Danish Academy and has taught and lectured at some of the world’s most highly regarded institutions. He is registered as a practicing architect in the UK.
