We are pleased to announce a MULTISTORY* guest lecture by:

Mellis Haward // Archio

Thursday 2nd February 2017 6pm

Nominated as Young Architects of the Year in 2016, Archio are an emerging practice based in London, specialising in housing and community projects.

Run by Kyle Buchanan and Mellis Haward, with a team of 9, Archio have a portfolio of projects ranging across many scales, from the 3m2 award-winning Flower Kiosk in West London, to Temple Cloud, 3000m2 of new homes, completing the heart of a small Somerset Village.

Mellis is co-Director of Archio, leading on a number of community and housing projects, including the first development of 100% affordable housing for London Community Land Trust. She also sits on the Design Panel for the London Borough of Tower Hamlets, and with a passion for 1950's housing she has led walks and talks for the Twentieth Century Society."

Multistory is a student and alumni led guest lecture programme series at Canterbury School of Architecture, University for the Creative Arts that seeks to invite architects, designers, writers, curators, photographers, and artists to speak about their work.
