Elly is a director and co-founder of Ordinary Architecture, having previously worked for FAT, dRMM and Muf, aswell as Los Angeles for UCLA as a designer and researcher.

Ordinary Architecture's work stems from an interest in popular culture and an architecture that draws inspiration from the ordinary and everyday. The word ordinary, they say, is situated through their work within a lineage of art and architecture that is influenced by the signs, symbols and spaces of everyday built  culture.
Elly's work has been published in Blueprint, Architectural Review, Architect's Journal and RIBA Journal and she has exhibited at the Royal Institute of British Architects, the Royal College of Art and the Royal Academy.She studied Architecture at the Royal College of Art and at London Metropolitan University where she won the Best Portfolio Prize and a nomination for the RIBA Bronze Medal. She also recently won the Best Design Scheme Award for Modern Deco in Shenzhen.

Elly is currently a Visiting Lecturer and Design Tutor at the University of Westminster.
