End point: Clocktower Square

For their first design project of the academic year our Master of Architecture students are participating in the DAD Festival 2023 You can reach the world from Dover. Over the summer, the Arts Council England-funded new arts festival has presented an extensive listing of walks, talks, workshops, and screenings as well as new artworks, public exhibitions, and happenings. Collaborating with the Dover-based social enterprise Future Foundry students design and build portable and illuminated lighthouses for the early evening lantern parade along Dover seafront on Sunday 8 October. The parade is the closing event of the festival. Accompanied by live music the walk will start at 6.30pm and last two hours. The event is free and open to all. Please come along.
