CSA lecturers shortlisted for
Architect of the Year Awards

Associate lecturers and M.ARCH studio leaders Carla Novak and Adam Hiles, co-founders of Novak Hiles Architects, have been chosen as Finalists in the coveted BD Young Architect of the Year Awards 2022. The prestigious award is open to young practices from across Europe and recognises excellence across an overall body of work to date. Carla and Adam first met whilst studying at UCA Canterbury, and after a number of years working for celebrated practices in London, decided to set up on their own in 2017.

Novak Hiles Architects was also recently named RIBA London's 'Practice of Month' in June 2022, with the RIBA showcasing the practice's inspiration, current and ongoing projects, as well as advice for future architects.
