Louisa Clifford

Associate Lecturer in Architecture

Louisa studied Architecture at Kingston University before moving to the Kent School of Architecture to complete her MA, where her project for the Thames Barge Restoration Centre and Graveney Boat Museum was nominated for the RIBA Silver Medal 2012. Upon completion of her Masters. Louisa cofounded Spacemaker Architects in 2013 in Whitstable and she completed her Part 3 at the University of Greenwich in 2016.

Her practice concentrates on residential architecture and is interested in working with clients to explore how seemingly every day spaces can be transformed with even the smallest of interventions, to bring spatiality and joy to their inhabitants lives. She enjoys working across all work stages, collaborating closely with clients and small design teams, from conception to realisation.
