Julian Seagars

Associate Lecturer in Architecture



Julian Seagars is an Architectural Designer currently working in Canterbury.
He holds honours degrees in both Architecture and Film Production, and most recently completed his Postgraduate Diploma in Architecture at UCA. He has since worked in London and Kent, and from 2010 has participated in numerous reviews at various institutions.

His work relates to master planning and bespoke residential projects. Recent interesting projects have included DIY SOS for the BBC and being shortlisted for the international competition ‘Theo and Oskar’s New Home’. Julian is motivated by a number of themes in his work, playfully challenging and engaging with politics, identity and popular culture within contemporary society.
