Daniel Stilwell ARB

Associate Lecturer in Architecture



Daniel Stilwell is an Architect and Architectural Historian working for Charles Holland Architects.
His most recent research on the home, domestic life and comfort have led him to write about the linguistic history of comfort in British domestic architecture. He is also writing about the Arts and Craft Architect Barry Parker’s domestic work in Letchworth Garden City.
Daniel lectures in Architecture Design History and Theory at Canterbury School of Architecture as well as in Contextual Studies at Central Saint Martins, UAL.
Daniel studied both BA and M.Arch Architecture at Canterbury School of Architecture along with an Erasmus Exchange at the Bauhaus Universität in Weimar. More recently, he completed an MA in Architectural History at the Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL.
