Are You Sitting Comfortably? an exhibition, symposium and public discussion curated by M.Arch Stage 2 student Daniel Stilwell on the relationship between home, comfort and domestic life.

Guest speakers include:

Charles Holland, Principle of Charles Holland Architects and Professor of Architecture at the University of Brighton.

Barbara Penner, Senior Lecturer in Architectural History at the Bartlett, UCL.

David Roberts, Lecturer in History and Theory and a Research Ethics Fellow at the Bartlett, UCL and part of the collective Fugitive Image.

Jack Self, Director of the REAL foundation and Editor-in-Chief of the Real Review.

Participating Canterbury School of Architecture students:
Daisy Bendrey, Ayo Rosanwo & Jordan Whitewood

It will be an afternoon of conversation, discussion and speculation on how we might live more comfortably and how we might find our comfortable interiors of tomorrow.

With conversations on 'Economy and Ethics', 'Origins/Hearts of the Home' and 'Home Comforts'

Hosted in the Herbert Read Gallery at Canterbury School of Architecture on Friday 3rd March, from 1PM.
